Association of German-American Centers
Twelve institutions, one goal: to keep transatlantic exchange alive.
Building Bridges. Fostering Dialogue. Shaping the Future.
The Association of German-American Centers (VDAZ) is an alliance of twelve independent cultural and educational institutions across Germany that jointly promote transatlantic dialogue, cultural exchange and the communication of democratic values.
Whether through discussion events, language courses, student exchanges, film series or exhibitions – we create spaces for encounters, new perspectives and a deeper understanding between Germany and the USA.
As a network, we combine our regional strengths, develop joint programmes and work closely with partners from education, politics, civil society and culture. Our goal is to keep German-American exchange alive – for people of all generations.
