The U.S. midterm elections are congressional elections that always take place at the halfway point of a presidency. They are regarded as a barometer of the incumbent president's policies.
One week after this year’s congressional elections on 8 November 2022, it is time to take a first stock: How do American voters assess the policies of the Biden administration? Where will the domestic course of the next two years of Joe Biden's presidency head? And, important from a German perspective: What impact does the election result have on the foreign policy of the world's leading nation?
Together with moderator David Patrician, entrepreneur and podcaster Wendy Brown (known from the podcast “Amerika uebersetzt”), political scientist Dr. Patrick Horst and political consultant Dr. Bendix Huegelmann - who experienced the election on the ground in Washington, D.C. - will discuss. Join the conversation!
In kind cooperation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
