On 9 September 2025, 6-8 p.m., we warmly invite you to a preview of the NDR documentary “Die Farben von Neuengland: Von Fruehling bis Indian Summer” (The Colours of New England: From Spring to Indian Summer) at the Abaton.
The north-east of the USA is unique not only for its colourful autumn forests. The affectionate film by America expert and Grimme Award winner Klaus Scherer therefore portrays not only landscapes, places and residents - from maple farmers to mail pilots - but also the seasons.
The film is shown in English and German (with English subtitles). Director Klaus Scherer will be present for a conversation, sharing his experiences and answering your questions.
